You already know your child is remarkable!
You’ve known it since before they could speak, in the particular way they see things, the questions they ask that stop you in your tracks, the intensity with which they feel everything, the way they light up around the right story or the right person and disappear completely in environments that weren’t built for them.
You’ve also known, perhaps for longer than you’ve been willing to say out loud, that the traditional classroom wasn’t built for your child. That it would break their spirit, label them with all kinds of names, and make learning difficult instead of being a joy. Your child just doesn’t fit neatly into traditional classrooms, not because anything is “wrong,” but because something inside them is beautifully different. They think differently, learn differently, and feel deeply. They ask big questions, need space, gentleness, and a learning process that honors who they truly are.
If you’re that parent, this program was built for your child. Not as a consolation. Not as a fallback. But as an intentional beginning, designed from the ground up for children who flourish in a smaller, more personal, and more human environment. A place that meets them exactly where they are and helps them grow from there.

Give as you feel led to support the continued work of protecting what makes us human — the stories, the homes, the marriages, the children, and the communities that a rich life is built around.

Every parent asks the same question before their child starts school.
Will they be okay?
Not just academically. Not just whether they know their letters and their numbers. But truly okay — socially, emotionally, practically, and in all the ways that a classroom full of children will ask of them before lunchtime on the very first day.
The Lamboville Library School Readiness Alphabet was written specifically for that question. For the parent who understands that a child who can read but cannot cope is not truly ready. For the family that wants to prepare their child for school the way that actually matters — from the inside out.
