A Five-Month Preschool Literacy Program (Ages 4–6)

$130.00 / Month For 5 Months and $50 sign-up fee

You already know your child is remarkable!
You’ve known it since before they could speak, in the particular way they see things, the questions they ask that stop you in your tracks, the intensity with which they feel everything, the way they light up around the right story or the right person and disappear completely in environments that weren’t built for them.

You’ve also known, perhaps for longer than you’ve been willing to say out loud, that the traditional classroom wasn’t built for your child. That it would break their spirit, label them with all kinds of names, and make learning difficult instead of being a joy. Your child just doesn’t fit neatly into traditional classrooms, not because anything is “wrong,” but because something inside them is beautifully different. They think differently, learn differently, and feel deeply. They ask big questions, need space, gentleness, and a learning process that honors who they truly are.

If you’re that parent, this program was built for your child. Not as a consolation. Not as a fallback. But as an intentional beginning, designed from the ground up for children who flourish in a smaller, more personal, and more human environment. A place that meets them exactly where they are and helps them grow from there.

Description

WHAT IS LAMBOVILLE’S LITERACY PROGRAM?
It’s a guided literacy journey for children who don’t fit the mold.

The Preschool Literacy Journey is a hybrid program combining two live Zoom story sessions each week with one in-person gathering. Together, children explore carefully curated picture books, classic stories, songs, conversation, vocabulary, early literacy skills, and playful learning experiences designed to build strong reading foundations.

Each session is intentionally small, allowing every child to be seen, encouraged, and invited into the story. Parents become active partners in the journey, receiving practical ways to continue the learning naturally throughout the week.

Why Was It Created?
Because traditional schools weren’t designed for every child. The traditional preschool and school environment was designed for a specific kind of child. The child who:

  • can sit still for extended periods
  • transitions smoothly between activities
  • learns at a standardised pace
  • processes information in a particular way
  • thrives in large groups
  • and finds the structure of a conventional classroom stabilising rather than suffocating.

That child exists, but this program is not for them.

This program is for the child who:
Is too sensitive for an environment that cannot hold their feelings.
The child who feels everything — the noise, the energy, the social complexity, the emotional weather of a room full of children — and is overwhelmed by it before the learning day has properly begun. In this program the environment is small, the facilitator knows their name, and the story provides the emotional container that allows them to engage fully without shutting down.

Is too creative for a curriculum that only values one kind of intelligence.
The child who expresses themselves through movement, through art, through imaginative play, through the particular way they see the world — and who is not yet ready to express those gifts through sitting still and listening and writing on lines. In this program creativity is not a problem to be managed. It is the primary vehicle of learning.

Learns differently, in ways the traditional classroom was not built to accommodate.
Whether your child processes information differently, develops at their own pace, experiences sensory sensitivities, has been assessed or suspected of having a learning difference, or simply thinks in a way that the conventional system does not know how to reach — this program was built around the understanding that there is no single correct way to learn. There is only the way that works for your child. And our job is to find it.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
This program is for families who recognise that their child may benefit from a more intentional beginning.

Perhaps your child:

  • The Non-Traditional Learner: Children who are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, kinesthetic, or simply need a more relational and creative approach to reading.
  • Children who learns best from the comfort of their homes
  • Parents Who Want a Partner: Families looking for a supportive community and a clear, stress-free roadmap to guide their child’s early education at home.
  • Is naturally curious but does not thrive under pressure.
  • Benefits from repetition and encouragement.
  • Simply deserves a beginning that honours who they are.
  • Age 4 – 6

Most of all, this program is for parents who believe every child deserves to begin their learning journey feeling capable, known, and able to express themselves.
